Shipping policy

This policy outlines the standard terms and requirements for the delivery and transport of InstantPod products.

1. Delivery Scope

  • InstantPods are supplied as flat-pack kit components unless otherwise specified.
  • Delivery includes transport from our facility to the nominated site address.
  • Unloading is not included unless agreed in writing.

2. Transport Method

  • Pods are designed for efficient flat-pack transportation, reducing logistics cost and site constraints.
  • Standard delivery is via truck (rigid or articulated depending on order size).
  • Delivery method will be confirmed based on site access conditions and order volume.

3. Site Access Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring the site is suitable for delivery:

  • Adequate vehicle access (width, height clearance, turning radius)
  • Safe and stable unloading area
  • No obstructions (e.g. low trees, powerlines, narrow driveways)
  • Any required permits or council approvals

If access is restricted, additional costs (e.g. smaller vehicles, re-delivery, crane hire) may apply.

4. Unloading Responsibility

  • By default, the client must arrange unloading equipment (e.g. forklift, crane, or manual labour depending on kit size).
  • All unloading must be carried out safely and in accordance with local regulations.
  • Optional unloading services can be arranged at additional cost.

5. Delivery Timeframes

  • Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided upon order confirmation.
  • Timeframes may vary due to:
    • Production schedules
    • Transport availability
    • Weather and external conditions

We will communicate any delays as early as possible.

6. Risk & Ownership

  • Risk transfers to the client upon delivery or unloading at site, whichever occurs first.
  • The client is responsible for inspecting all items upon delivery.
  • Any damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Storage on Site

  • Components should be stored in a dry, level, and secure area.
  • Protection from weather exposure is required prior to installation.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by improper storage.

8. Regional & Long-Distance Delivery

  • Delivery costs vary depending on distance, accessibility, and order size.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Remote or regional locations
    • Ferry or special transport requirements
    • Restricted delivery windows

9. Failed Delivery / Re-Delivery

  • If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues or client unavailability, re-delivery fees will apply.
  • Storage and holding fees may also be charged if delivery is delayed at the client’s request.

10. International Shipping (if applicable)

  • For international orders, delivery is typically FOB or CIF (as agreed).
  • The client is responsible for customs clearance, duties, and local handling unless otherwise stated.

11. Variations

  • Any changes to delivery details must be submitted in writing at least 5 business days prior to dispatch.
  • Changes may incur additional costs.
