Shipping policy
This policy outlines the standard terms and requirements for the delivery and transport of InstantPod products.
1. Delivery Scope
- InstantPods are supplied as flat-pack kit components unless otherwise specified.
- Delivery includes transport from our facility to the nominated site address.
- Unloading is not included unless agreed in writing.
2. Transport Method
- Pods are designed for efficient flat-pack transportation, reducing logistics cost and site constraints.
- Standard delivery is via truck (rigid or articulated depending on order size).
- Delivery method will be confirmed based on site access conditions and order volume.
3. Site Access Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the site is suitable for delivery:
- Adequate vehicle access (width, height clearance, turning radius)
- Safe and stable unloading area
- No obstructions (e.g. low trees, powerlines, narrow driveways)
- Any required permits or council approvals
If access is restricted, additional costs (e.g. smaller vehicles, re-delivery, crane hire) may apply.
4. Unloading Responsibility
- By default, the client must arrange unloading equipment (e.g. forklift, crane, or manual labour depending on kit size).
- All unloading must be carried out safely and in accordance with local regulations.
- Optional unloading services can be arranged at additional cost.
5. Delivery Timeframes
- Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided upon order confirmation.
- Timeframes may vary due to:
- Production schedules
- Transport availability
- Weather and external conditions
We will communicate any delays as early as possible.
6. Risk & Ownership
- Risk transfers to the client upon delivery or unloading at site, whichever occurs first.
- The client is responsible for inspecting all items upon delivery.
- Any damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Storage on Site
- Components should be stored in a dry, level, and secure area.
- Protection from weather exposure is required prior to installation.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper storage.
8. Regional & Long-Distance Delivery
- Delivery costs vary depending on distance, accessibility, and order size.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Remote or regional locations
- Ferry or special transport requirements
- Restricted delivery windows
9. Failed Delivery / Re-Delivery
- If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues or client unavailability, re-delivery fees will apply.
- Storage and holding fees may also be charged if delivery is delayed at the client’s request.
10. International Shipping (if applicable)
- For international orders, delivery is typically FOB or CIF (as agreed).
- The client is responsible for customs clearance, duties, and local handling unless otherwise stated.
11. Variations
- Any changes to delivery details must be submitted in writing at least 5 business days prior to dispatch.
- Changes may incur additional costs.
